Orion Entertainment strengthens capacity through business strategy workshop

Heads of Orion Entertainment (OE) are taking part in a Leadership and Business Strategy Workshop conducted by Pacific Training Solutions aimed at strengthening company management and long-term growth. The training took place yesterday.

The training covers leadership, business planning, team management, marketing, financial control, and customer service. Participants are also learning how to develop business plans, improve operations, and set clear goals for future growth.

Orion Entertainment Administration Officer Witnol Benko said the training is important as the company continues to expand its activities and professionalise its operations.

“Orion Entertainment has grown over the years, and this training is important to help us manage our organisation properly.

“We want to strengthen our leadership, improve teamwork, and ensure we continue delivering quality events for the people of Vanuatu,” Mr. Benko said.

He referred to several successful events organised by OE, including the Fruit Festival, DJ Festival, the first-anniversary memorial of the December 14 earthquake, Tuna Day celebrations, and the Mini DJ Fest.

Mr. Benko said the workshop will help owners better understand their roles and responsibilities, improve planning and financial management, and build a stronger foundation for future events and business opportunities.

Trainers Kathia and Tahnia Cook encouraged participants to think strategically, strengthen communication, and work together t company.

With entertainment and community events playing an increasingly important role in promoting tourism and supporting local businesses, the training is expected to equip Orion Entertainment’s owners with the skills needed to manage growth and continue delivering successful events across Vanuatu.

The workshop brings together all ten owners, reflecting their commitment to investing in leadership and ensuring Orion Entertainment remains a well-managed and sustainable organisation for the future.
