VHRA applauds progress in Vanuatu’s Aviation Industry

The Vanuatu Hotels and Resorts Association (VHRA) has congratulated the Government of Vanuatu on the progress made in the country’s aviation sector.

“The recent resumption of international flights and the expansion of domestic routes are testament to the government’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and boosting tourism,” VHRA stated.

“We commend the efforts of the relevant authorities in implementing improvements at Port Vila International Airport, ensuring a smoother and more efficient check-in process for both domestic and international travellers.”

The association said these enhancements have undoubtedly contributed to a more positive travel experience for visitors to Vanuatu. Moreover, the recent commencement of domestic flights to other airports within Vanuatu is a welcome development that will further stimulate local tourism and regional connectivity.

“This expansion will provide greater accessibility to various destinations within the country, enabling visitors to explore Vanuatu’s diverse landscapes and cultural experiences,” the VHRA added.

“As we look ahead to 2025, we eagerly anticipate the continued development and improvement of Vanuatu’s aviation infrastructure. By investing in modern facilities and expanding airport capacities, Vanuatu can position itself as a more attractive destination for international travellers and strengthen its tourism industry.

“VHRA remains committed to supporting the growth of Vanuatu’s tourism sector and looks forward to contributing to the country’s continued success.”
