Morgan Driving School to launch operations in Santo, creating local job opportunities

Morgan Driving School is set to begin offering driving lessons in Santo by mid-July, marking a major milestone in its expansion outside of Port Vila. The school, which was founded in 2021, has already established its office in Luganville and is gearing up to commence training sessions within weeks.

Founder and General Manager Sylvan Isaac confirmed the new location is ready to begin operating. “We already set up the office at Santo and hopefully start by mid-July,” he said. “We will kick off with one car to see how it goes, and Morgan Driving School will employ three individuals.”

The new branch will not only provide much-needed driving lessons to communities in and around Luganville but also create employment for local residents.

The school plans to begin modestly, but Isaac said there is room for future growth depending on how the program is received by the community.

“We will start off like this, and with time and demand, we can employ more people to work,” he said. “We are not just providing a quality service for driving to Santo, but we also provide job opportunities to the residents of Santo.”

Since opening its doors in Port Vila, Morgan Driving School has successfully trained over 300 drivers and built a reputation for delivering reliable and professional instruction. The move to expand into the country’s northern region is in line with its mission to promote road safety and responsible driving habits across Vanuatu.

The school’s arrival in Santo is expected to benefit both aspiring drivers and job seekers, particularly young people hoping to gain skills that can contribute to their long-term livelihoods.
