Financial Dealers Licence Awards – TitanFX wins best overall FDL performance

The contributions of Financial Dealers Licence (FDL) agencies in Vanuatu were recognised for the first time at the recent FDL Awards ceremony with Prime Minister (PM) Charlot Salwai.

The FDL Awards were hosted by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) at the conclusion of the second Virtual Assets Symposium in Port Vila on Thursday, 27 June.

PM Salwai presented 16 Financial Dealers Licence awards in recognition of the contributions of FDL companies who are elevating industry performance by improving local business practices and championing community service.

Best Vanuatu overall FDL performance was won by Titan FX, who were also recognised for their significant progress in monthly domestic expenditure, best community support and as runners-up for the best Symposium booth.

The Symposium’s gold sponsors, TMGM were awarded best Symposium booth and runners-up for best community support.

The event was attended by the Minister of Finance and Economic Management, the John Salong, and Member of Parliament (MP) and Chairperson of the Financial Dealers Licence Taskforce, Andrew Napuat.

International guests included the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Vanuatu in the Republic of Cyprus, Costas Georgiades, international financial integrity expert Rick McDonell, the VFSC’s digital asset consultant, Loretta Joseph, Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Advisor, Panagiotis Nikolaou and Audit and Assurance expert, Archana Kumar.

Currently more than 70 finance brokers are operating and contributing to Vanuatu’s economy under the VFSC’s FDL.
