The Vanuatu Police Force (VPF) has launched its 2024 Business Plan with key strategies to improve community safety, enhance service capabilities, and deepen partnerships throughout the country.

Unveiled at the new Vanuatu Mobile Force (VMF) facility at Cooks Barracks, the plan is part of VPF’s five-year vision to improve policing across Vanuatu.

During the launch, VPF leaders reviewed the progress of key initiatives under the “Lonnoc Business Plan”, highlighting successful program outcomes and ongoing projects.

“The nature of policing requires flexibility and adaptability, yet our fundamental duty remains unchanged: to protect the people of Vanuatu,” stated VPF Commissioner Robson Iavro.

He emphasized that efficiency and responsiveness are essential in meeting the expectations of both the government and the public.

VPF leaders affirmed their commitment to implementing the plan’s programs and adapting to emerging challenges. The Acting Commander of Maritime will host next year’s business plan, reflecting VPF’s dedication to advancing its goals across all divisions.
