Punjas Vanuatu Ltd Launches Fiji Trip Promo, Celebrates Expansion and Community Impact

Punjas Vanuatu Ltd’s next promotion will be a trip for their winners to visit Fiji, explore their mills and factory, and also discover the beautiful country.
This was stated by Ronal Ravinesh Prasad, Country Manager of Punjas (Vanuatu) Ltd, who also mentioned that they have offered the same opportunity to most of their staff in both Vila and Santo.
However, since starting its operations in Vanuatu in 2003, Punjas Vanuatu Ltd has established two branches: the head office in Vila and a second branch in Santo.
“Punjas is a wholesaler and retailer, distributor of various food products manufactured by our company in Fiji. Major lines include Flour, Biscuits, Rice, Tea Leaf, Spices, Cooking Oil, Cordial, Soaps, Perfumed Oil, Cartons, Printing Press, and many more.
“We also represent many branded products like Americana, Tiffany, Savantte, Bakers Fresh, Rhodes Juice, and ACCOLADE, which have been distributed to the people of Vanuatu for many years and have become the number one brand for some households.
“Punjas has branches with similar operations in Tonga and Kiribati, and we have agents all over the Pacific who distribute our goods. That’s why our logo states ‘Punjas – Choice of the Pacific,’” said Mr. Prasad.
Mr. Prasad also stated that Punjas has made significant investments and has grown over the years, with a large retail and Distribution Center in the Nambatri area in Port Vila, employing 25 local staff. Meanwhile, their branch in Santo at Sideriver, Luganville, employs 15 local staff.
“There are no future plans to open additional branches, but we are working with local businesses on the islands to distribute our products. Plus, we are diligently working toward expanding our product lines to bring quality products to the homes of all Ni-Vans. Recently, we launched the Punjas Snack Cracker, which has received very positive feedback from customers.
“This major promotion, which began last year, is the second of its kind. Given the success of these promotions, we have already planned to make them even bigger in the coming years.
“We will also run a similar promotion for our Medx Bathing Soap and Coral Laundry Detergent Powder in the coming months, with the draw taking place during Independence Day 2024,” he added.
In conclusion, Mr. Prasad emphasizes that this initiative is also a way of giving back to the people of Vanuatu who love and purchase Punjas Biscuits and other quality products. Punjas is now a recognized brand name in many homes across Vanuatu.
