Grand Casino back in action, hotel to follow in March 2026

The Grand Hotel & Casino’s gaming floor officially reopened yesterday, 4 December 2025, marking a major step in the landmark property’s return to full operational status and re-establishing its position as one of Port Vila’s most recognisable hospitality destinations.

The reopening follows twelve months of rebuilding and refurbishment works, with the hotel component scheduled to reopen in the first week of March 2026. The Grand is set to offer an elevated hospitality experience, featuring upgraded rooms, refined service, and premium design upgrades throughout the property.

Perched along the Port Vila harbour, the revamped hotel will feature seventy-four rooms, suites, and a penthouse, each offering floor-to-ceiling windows, harbour views, private balconies, marble bathrooms, high-speed internet, and 24-hour room service.
