The Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MoFEM) will host its first-ever Revenue Forum with the private sector on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, at the Warwick Hotel in Port Vila.
The forum will bring together business leaders and private sector stakeholders to discuss new revenue measures. These initiatives aim to secure resources for national investments, improve public service delivery, and support economic growth, while maintaining a balanced and healthy business environment. The MoFEM says the engagement is an important step in involving the private sector directly in shaping policies that affect the economy and business operations.
The Ministry says the forum will promote transparency, build trust, and provide a platform for open dialogue between government and business.
Private sector representatives attending the forum can contribute to decisions affecting taxation, public funding, and economic development, ensuring revenue measures are fair, effective, and beneficial to all Ni-Vanuatu.
The event will run from 9:00am to 12:00 noon, with registration starting at 8:30am.
