Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu is set to reopen its Seaside Wing on Sunday, 1 March 2026, marking a key step in its recovery following disruptions caused by Tropical Cyclones (TCs) Judy and Kevin, and the 17 December 2024 earthquake. The reopening brings refreshed guest rooms, upgraded systems, and thoughtfully integrated sustainability features.
The Seaside Wing will welcome guests with 64 refreshed rooms, retaining familiar layouts and the relaxed island charm that returning visitors know and love. Each room offers scenic views of Erakor Lagoon, tranquil gardens, or the resort grounds, providing a peaceful setting for guests reconnecting with Vanuatu.
Guests can expect improved comfort and connectivity, including new in-room televisions, upgraded high-speed Wi-Fi, refreshed soft furnishings, and quality bedding, all while maintaining the wing’s signature island ambiance.
The resort has also strengthened core systems and infrastructure to improve guest safety, operational reliability, and long-term resilience.
Sustainability initiatives include rainwater harvesting to support responsible pool water management and more eco-conscious daily operations.
The reopening reflects Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu’s focus on renewal, resilience, and delivering a memorable island experience for all visitors.
