URA invites feedback on VUI electricity services

The Utilities Regulatory Authority (URA) has launched a customer survey for electricity users of Vanuatu Utilities and Infrastructure Limited (VUI Ltd).

The survey aims to collect feedback from customers in VUI’s service areas on their experiences with electricity supply, billing, affordability, reliability, and service quality.

“Customer feedback is key to improving electricity services and ensuring accountability,” said James Temakon, Financial Analyst at the URA. “Through this survey, we aim to give electricity users a platform to share their views and help identify areas that need attention.”

The survey is primarily online, allowing participants to respond easily using mobile phones, tablets, or computers. In-person interviews may be arranged in selected communities where online access is limited, to ensure broader participation.

During ICT Week in Luganville, Santo (Tuesday 13 May to Friday 16 May 2025), Mr. Temakon will be available at the URA booth to assist VUI customers in completing the survey.

The public is encouraged to visit the URA booth during this period or contact the URA North Branch Office on the first floor of the VNPF Building.

The survey link (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/vui_survey) became available on Tuesday 13 May 2025 and will remain open until 12 June 2025.
