French Embassy donates laptops to Vanuatu Daily Post

The French Embassy has generously donated seven laptops to the Vanuatu Daily Post yesterday to support freedom of the media press.

French Ambassador Jean-Baptiste Jeangène Vilmer said mobility is important and the new laptops will allow the journalists to travel and get stories from all 6 provinces.

“As readers of the Daily Post every day, we support freedom of expression and press and this is the priority for us,” he said

“If we can support your work for free press in Vanuatu, that is something we would like to do and if we can contribute to that then it’s been useful.”
