Royal Caribbean International delivered school supplies to Amaro Primary School on Lelepa Island, Vanuatu, last week. This initiative is part of their ongoing community engagement efforts.
The project aligns with Royal Caribbean’s “SEA the Future” initiative, which is committed to sustaining the planet, energizing communities, and accelerating innovation in support of their mission to deliver ultimate vacations responsibly.
“Our ongoing commitment to Lelepa and Vanuatu is part of Royal Caribbean’s dedication to the communities we visit,” stated Gavin Smith, Managing Director and Vice President of Royal Caribbean Australia and New Zealand.
“We look forward to continuing our long-term partnership with Lelepa, working alongside community leaders to identify how we can truly support the people of Lelepa. Providing ongoing school supplies is a small step in supporting the future development of this island paradise.”
This is not the first time Royal Caribbean International has donated goods to Amaro Primary School. On 27th of September 2022, Royal Caribbean partnered with the school to provide much-needed educational resources to local students. During that time, the cruise line worked with the school and the local community to provide renovation and repair support, new desks and chairs for the students, equipment such as computers and printers, and teaching resources including books and stationery supplies suitable for students of all ages.
Royal Caribbean sails to the South Pacific, including Vanuatu, with Quantum of the Seas sailing from Brisbane and Ovation of the Seas sailing from Sydney, visiting destinations such as Port Vila, Mystery Island in Vanuatu, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
