In a move towards promoting healthier lifestyles and combating Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), The Juice Box, a renowned organic juice and smoothie producer has extended its operations to Port Vila and Luganville.
Owned and operated by Mr. Barley Elton, The Juice Box is set to revolutionise the health and wellness scene in these areas.
Specialising in organic products ranging from salads to smoothies, The Juice Box has gained popularity for its dedication to offering over 20 unique organic juice and smoothie recipes. Mr. Elton emphasises the health benefits of their products, asserting that “Juices and smoothies are not only delicious but also serve as a remedy to Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)”.
Operating on a delivery basis in Port Vila, The Juice Box aims to make nutritious options easily accessible to the community. As part of its expansion plans, the company is eyeing further outreach to other islands in Vanuatu.
The Juice Box is also introducing subscription plans for busy individuals who wish to incorporate healthy choices into their diets without the hassle of preparation. Mr. Elton explains, “Subscribers will have the flexibility to choose from our daily, weekly, or monthly menu. We offer a variety of options, including customized juices or smoothies tailored to individual preferences or dietary requirements.”
Being a registered Vanuatu Made producer and a member of the Pacific Organic and Ethical Trade Community (POETCOM), The Juice Box emphasises its commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. The company’s origin story is rooted in a personal journey of providing healthy alternatives to family members dealing with NCDs.
The Juice Box has already made its mark in Espiritu Santo, with an outlet at the departure lounge of Santo Airport. Plans to perfect the shelf life of their products are underway, allowing customers to enjoy the freshness and flavours for an extended period.
Acknowledging the growing interest in the health trend, Mr. Elton expresses positivity about other juicing entities emerging, stating, “We are happy that others are aware and seeing the healthy trend we have set and are joining us to provide more healthy options for the people of Vanuatu.”
