Vodafone Product Development Coordinator, Kevin Garlopeau, said that deliveries are possible only in areas within range of a Vodafone shop, depending on road access.
Vodafone Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Thomas Bruce, shared his pride in the company’s journey of enhancing the digital experience for the people.
“MaiVoli is derived from native tongue which reflects the welcoming spirit of the platform and Vodafone’s mission to serve the people of Vanuatu,” he said.
“At Vodafone we are always striving to bring innovative solutions to simplify and enrich lives of our customers.
“This platform is not just about keeping pace with global trends but by empowering our valued customers with the ease and convenience to shop online from the comfort of your home, workplace and even on the go.”

“Our new e-commerce platform will allow you to browse and purchase Vodafone products and services online, ensuring you stay connected without ever having to visit the shop,” he said.
“This is just the beginning of how we envision simplifying your interaction to Vodafone with the power of technology.
“What does this mean for our customers? easier access from today you can shop online, shop for mobile devices, top-ups and accessories with just a few clicks.
“It is convenient and accessible whether you are here in Efate, in the urban or rural areas, in Santo and in Tanna.
“Even our international customers can pay online, but we only do local deliveries to their families and friends here.”
The CEO believes that they will continue to expand their grow and will include products from other merchants.
“Our goal is to turn this platform into a one-stop shop where you can access a wider range of goods and services all in one place from local businesses to international brands, we want to create an ecosystem where our customers will have access to the best products and services with the click of a button,” he said.
“This initiative is part of our on-going commitment to support Vanuatu’s digital economy and financial inclusion, by providing a platform to local businesses to showcase their products and services and as we expand, we look forward to partnering with more merchants and offering you an even broader range of choices.
“At Vodafone we believe that technology has the power to transform lives and this launch is one of the many steps we are taking to bring Vanuatu closer to a more digitally connected future.”
