PVCC news of the week 1: Jungle Café among next in line for demolition

Port Vila City Council (PVCC) Senior Town Planner, Mr. Manses Fatdal, confirmed that three more buildings are yet to be demolished in the Central Business District (CBD).

Mr. Fatdal said most of the demolition work has been completed, but some buildings still need to submit a second engineering report.

He said the Jungle Café building, the All-in-One building, and the Chinese Club are next on the list for demolition.

PVCC is urging the public to take extra precautions when moving through the CBD.

As demolition work is ongoing, the public is not allowed to enter restricted areas to avoid any incidents.
