Business relocations in Port Vila post-quake: See where services are now operating

Following the recent earthquake, various business establishments have relocated due to the closure of primary buildings in the Central Business District (CBD), which are undergoing engineering assessments to ensure safety.

The National Bank of Vanuatu (NBV) has moved to the Vanuatu Post Office located in the Stade area, Melcoffee, and operates from 9AM to 2:30PM.

Caillard & Kaddour Vanuatu has relocated to the Ramada Resort, specifically at the end of the reception building, where it offers services including rentals, sales, and administration.

The Vanuatu National Provincial Fund (VNPF) has shifted its operations to Pango Half Road, prior to the Pacific Lagoon Apartment Road.

ANZ Bank has established its services at the Disaster Recovery site on Colardeau Road, where customers can find a sign posted at the entrance.

Wanfuteng Bank has relocated to Au Bon Marche Nambatu, adjacent to L’Houstalet. Yumiwork has now established its location at Nambatu, in the previous Better Inn, adjacent to Kaiviti.

The Natural Disaster Management Office (NDMO) has moved to the Internal Affairs office. Capital Insurance Limited Vanuatu is temporarily operating from the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), situated opposite the SHEFA Provincial Government Council Headquarters.

South Pacific Travel is also based at VCCI, with three sales officers and a sales representative having relocated to the Airport Office Branch.

The Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Services Department has moved to the Passport Printing office located in the Independence Park area, behind the Civil Status office.

The Finance Department and the Department of Customs and Inland Revenue have relocated to Nambatu, next to the Environment office-Climate Change compound.
