Moorings Hotel to reopen in June after demolition

The Moorings Hotel Administration revealed that they plan to reopen in June once demolition is completed.

Facilities being demolished includes the restaurant, staff changing rooms and the famous outrigger conference room normally used to host workshops and meetings.

The administration conveyed that they have laid off seven to nine staff members after the earthquake whilst some were reposted to work at the Melanesian Hotel.

Although a small management team remains and are working hard handling administrative requests, they have assured that they will be fully prepared to welcome customers by June.

Moorings Hotel is an affordable waterfront accommodation located at the waterfront with amazing views, infinity pool, restaurant and bar.

The hotel has had its damaged facilities demolished yesterday by the Brunet company due to the devastating earthquake of December 17.
